While great quality, This pre like the previous comes down to an EQ and a high pass filter. To achieve the creamy, solid, bloomy character of real Mesa tone we know and love (Bass 400+) which is modelled or emulated in many digital devices... One needs either tubes or a good modeller.

Call me stubborn if you want.

This is interesting, i've been using the DOD Octaplus forever. I think I have a morley wah somewhere too.
 
there is a BCP-1 Diamond on the market here in NZ
if it wasn't for their stupid power up requirements I'd be in

Haha, this is so true! 😅

However, I still think this could pair nicely with my electric cello, even though I am far far far from Nate-level abilities on any instrument.
