The cello has arrived, and I f*kin love the thing! It sounds sooo good with the bow, even if I don't even have a proper cello bow yet, just a German style bass bow.

Also, have you seen such sexyness?

Ups, I did it again... and again... Sold the most beautiful Corvette edition „Black“ and replace it with this one: 1986 custom made, sold by the first owner, side LED!

Not lined, but those early Warwick inlays.

What a beauty! Congrats!! I've never seen the old original symbol as an inlay on a Thumb. So cool. Same symbol that some of the very first Streamers had on their headstock and the 5th anniversary has for inlays. This could very well be the 1st Thumb with a custom inlay of any kind. Earliest I've seen at least.

20200219_215649.jpg New barefaced super twin turned up today. Sounds good. Will give it a proper run at tomorrows jam night. It took about 7 weeks to get built and shipped to New Zealand.

As usual the stupid forum loads my pic sideways. Grrrr..

Congrats - she's a beauty! I played it when I was last autumn in Hamburg. :):) Prefer the unpainted neck though  and decided not to indulge.
I smell you're developing into a fretless enthusiast!! Keep it up! ;);)

That's a pretty substantial rig, perhaps that's the only way they could get it to fit:D. With that said, I do sympathize since they load all of my iPhone photos upside down!

I want to have the ability to record vocals at home, so I have a Shure SM7B mike, along with pop and reflection filters, en route to me; ETA tomorrow!

Last weekend at the local bar I met a Norwegian metal musician on vacation. He also plays Warwick basses but did not know about the Forum. We exchanged emails and I sent him the link. Anyhow I just heard from him and he’s back in Norway. Maybe we’ll hear from him sometime.

    Cheers!

Well it has been like a year and a half of not buying basses and the urge finally took over me...I should have never have sold my Thumb BO5 so to replace my Warwick void i pulled the trigger on this one:

I have a feeling this one will be killer. Only bad point was a major trussrod repair but seller was upfront and detailed pics look fine to me. Keen to try a MM style bass. As previously mentioned I am not a huge natural colour fan so if it plays as good as i think it will it will probably have a makeover lol.
    Excited!
