Thank you @Hoggles! ;):)I'm going through a "transitional" period with basses right now. I've always loved 90's Warwicks the best....that is until I got my 2015 SSII 5 early this year in January. Now I really love the Masterbuilt Custom Shop basses the best! There is something about them that is just ultra-refined in construction, feel and most of all tone! Warwick has really stepped it up with the Masterbuilt basses! I was able to find some great deals so I'm building up my MB collection. Now I will have three. :D This one is on its way to me....I should have it Thursday. Then I'll post in the Streamer Club... This bass was made to be displayed in the Warwick booth at the 2015 NAMM convention so I hope some extra love went into it...Lol... I've already named her Rosie as the finish is called Bleached Rose Stain High Polish. :p

My Noble finally arrived today, Looks and feels really high quality, Cant wait to get it on my board tonight and to listen to it.

I also picked up a Ltd Japan edition Alpha omega. This should make for a killer combo. Gas is happy for the time being!!!

Well since my last guitar buying attempt was a disaster I gave up on the Music man. Decided to go with this since I always wanted a Tele style guitar. Should have in a few days.

Buying guitars will always end in a disaster. They are no basses! Don’t cut your fingers... or worse...

I just ordered one of these, A NS design CR5M upright in slate grey. The grey finish will match my Streamer stage 1. grey stain over flame maple is the same on both basses. Matchy matchy ha ha

I hope NS design has stock as im ordering this from my local dealer and getting flown over by fedex, Find out Monday. I really love my current NXT upright so feel I can justify getting a nicer model in custom finish. Lush!

As soon as it arrives il sell on my NXT5 string.

Awesome! I have two CR Omni Basses from NS Design (one fretted, one fretless), and they are great! I think you will be very happy with the transition to the CR series; I briefly had an NXT Omni, and while it was a good bass, the CR version is quite a few steps above and beyond!

Not so special or exciting, but I just ordered 19" rack ears for the Tech21 VT500 amp.
It will become the in-house bass amp at the pub our guitarist owns and will be secured in a 19" cabinet.
There it will drive a custom (black widow ) 15" cab plus my old SWR Goliath Jr. III (pre-fender).

Bass tone will be very flexible and sounding great for anyone gigging there.
You can turn off the sansamp circuit on the VT500 completely, then it becomes a clean sounding regular class D thing.
Me I prefer the Ampeg-ish tones coming from the sansamp bit. It has more girth and heft.

    My last hesitation is :
    - 5 strings or 4 strings?
    I should go for 5, fretless… (low B addict… kinda.)

I played an still play fivers a lot. On the fretless basses I owned I never really used the low B. If I decide to buy a fretless again it will probably be a four string.

    5 string with a high C pehaps. :)
Whatever the number of strings the pickup configuration will make a very interesting fretless.

4 strings seems a bit stupid because of my profile picture, sort of deja vu.

5 strings seems better. Now you mentioned high C, I could take a fretted one too.

Luckily I'm so into a last level of GAS condition, that I want them all and there's a conflict in my brain.

Yes but I'm refinishing for the third time a project I never putted enough love in it and it happens to be a 5 high C , which is now fretless...

Im really into GAS now because I foresee a RB Infinity sanded, oiled, with a beautiful greenl/blue burst...
