So a couple have already arrived and one is on its way-
Hey Hardy, you need one of these if you don't already have one- or the USB C lithium battery Pro Model- I love my basic four AA battery model. Used it for the first time today-
So the business end with its grooves works with bass keys as well as guitar. The manual one on the right as well. It doesn't slop back and forth like the rectangular shaped ones either-
Hipshot BT-7 Extender - just installed it on the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass
The next one is on its way- the Peterson Strobo Plus HD C. I got fed up with how my clip on tuner (the Peterson Stoboclip HD C) would suddenly indicate the A string instead of the E string at times or the E string instead of the B string on a five string bass. Generally I would have to hit the string a number of times or have to unclip and re-clip the tuner to get it to act right. The Stroboclip is a good tuner but sometimes it had issues with low bass tones.
I wanted to a bench turner for times when I'm doing trussrod adjustments and don't want to glance down at my pedalboard Peterson tuner. A luxury yes, but approaching my early-60's and having done a lot of bass and guitar maintenance and upgrades it made sense, just like the electric peg winder.
The Strobo Plus is sensitive enough to pick up your voice and can pickup electric bass tones without having to plug in if you're in a quiet room-

A few more irtems-
Having basses and guitars that require various SAE and Meteric size hex keys, and not always wanting to drag out the case candy toys from individual cases that are either heavy or otherwise inconvenient to rummage through in storage. I got some to keep in maintenance pouch, that's easy to access-
So I have the two sets that cover the ones my instruments currently need- 3 mm, 2.5 mm, 1.5 mm, .05 inch, and 1/16 inch. The long 3 mm is really convenient for string removal and installation, along with bridge height adjustment on my Charvel San Dimas that has the locking nut and floating tremolo.
Here's the Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas finally at home with Hipshot Extender Upgrade. It got it to take and leave in Florida but mom might want to keep it as it matches her décor so well-

While we're on blue instruments I forgot about this recent arrival that may wind up in Florida as well, or the purple one will- The Ibanez GIO GRX-70QA in Transparent Blue Burst. It plays and sounds great right out of the box. Was in tune and set up just right- I'm amazed at the fit and finish and overall quality of this entry level instrument. Just as I was with the purple one I purchased last year. The only thing that looked cheap to me was the fingerboard which I took to be Richlite or some other synthetic material, but in fact it is Jatobá, Brazilian Redwood.
I was also impressed with how meticulously the instrument was boxed and protected. They even had a styrofoam block on the pickup selector switch-
Another cool feature I've seen on Ibanez instruments is that the truss rod covers swing on a hinge to the right instead of you having to unscrew them-
The only thing I would change would be a friction fit tremolo bar that you can easily insert and remove instead of having to screw it in and out. But that's forgivable for an entry level guitar.

Two rehearsals now played with the pedal in the band. It sounds awesome on bass! With the fuzz before (and after with my other pedals) it definitely creates the grindy/fuzzy Wah-Wah sound I was searching for in our Bandsound.
