Corvette std with streamer body possible?

I was wondering, is it possible to build a corvette std bass, but with a streamer ash body (bolt on)? How much extra would that cost :?:
 
You mean like a Streamer LX with an ash body and two J pickups? That would be possible.
 
Well, i was thinking the starting model to be a corvette std ,and then (among other custom preferences) add the streamer body shape as another custom option. If i started with a streamer model then the cost would be too high...

What you want is basically a Streamer custom bass. It sounds like you want a Streamer LX customized to your specs. Everything (within reason) is possible at the custom shop and the prices are not as high as a lot of people think they are.
 
The price of a custom shop Streamer LX 4-string (without any extras) is the same as a passiv Corvette Std. Bubinga 5-string bass. Then a swamp ash body will cost you 140 € extra. Seeing as the Streamer LX's standard hardware color is gold it won't cost you more to change the hardware color. Very affordable. If you want a 4-string with the same pickups you'll have to pay extra for another J pickup. If you go for a 5-string the pickups are the same as by a Corvette Std, but active. The Streamer LX comes with active 2-band electronics. Are you lookin for a 4 or a 5 -string model?

matching headstock (maybe)
 
E-mail the Warwick custom shop and ask for a price quote. Then go to your local music store and see what they can do about the price. Usually, the prices Warwick gives you are way higher than the lowest prices you can get. All I can say now is that it definitely won't be cheap but an eye-catcher!
 
Hey! I didn't know the custom shop gives out price quotes.
I wrote to them once to ask for a couple of similar custom
models, and all they specified was if there was to be an
upcharge or not for my custom options. Then again, I did
not specifically ask for a price quote...
 
They pretty much only give you an answer to what you ask. If you want to know how much something costs you have to specifically ask them.

If you order a custom Warwick from your dealer and they say that they'll even beat any price on the internet, I'd check this website out:

i've got my quote yesterday for the all-ovangkol corvette i could buy soon :D that's basically a stock vette $$ 4 but with an ovangkol body and natural finish 8) ..1290 euro 8) not bad uh?
 
The ovangkol body costs 140 € extra at the website that I posted above. Does your dealer compete with online prices? If so, check out this site:

It offers the $$ 4-string for 899 €. Ad the ovangkol body and your only up to 1039 €.
 
uhm yeah right, 1039 is even better..could as well order from germany :D thanks for pointing that out mate :D
 
What I would suggest is going to your local music store and talking to them about it. See if they compete with these prices. Might be a little safer to get it via them. :wink:
