Corvette neck replacement question

Do you have a link to a site where I can listen to the solo???

Can't download music on this computer unless I shovel in an extra ton of coal and build up a head of steam! I hope someone else can answer that!

Ovangkol problems

Has anyone heard of neck braking incidents of ovangkol necks of Warwick basses?
I have seen one at the shop in Colone Germany. It had been repaired and was lowered on price.
Nevertheless i ordered a new one because of it's great sound.
But i have some concerns about the ovangkol necks...

It's the first I've ever heard of this.Do you know why this neck was broken?An accident perhaps.
I would'nt at all be concerened about it.Ovangkol is a very hard & dense wood & the volute that's carved behind the nut reinforces the neck's weakest point.
 
+1, it's the first time I hear about a broken newer neck. I actually know many cases with the older wenge necks broken. They were slimmer, and wenge is fragile sometimes, can break like a glass...
But the new ones are like tanks.
 
Haha, I played that bass as well :) If I had been looking for an ash-bodied WW, I probably would have bought this. Maybe ~800€ would have been possible on that one, but 900 are for sure, so told me the salesman...5-string with complete warranty...and it had the wrong finish for me :P
Anyway, whoever is looking for a new, "low priced" $$ should drive to cologne :D
