any suggestion for rewiring a thumb to stereo output?

ok - my first thread.

being rickenbacker player for almost 20 years i'm used to two channels output. for both recording and live.

some time ago i acquired a thumb 4 nt w/ mec electronics. and i miss one channel for each pickup. very much

it would be great if anybody has idea/experience how to rewire it to stereo output or change onboard pream w/ one that has in/out for each pickup. i think i do not need much EQ except for mid controls.

i know i would not drill any new holes for pots.

It's barely possible since active electronics require a stereo jack for on/off switching, so the other contact is already in use. You may go passive, but you'll have to change all the electronics (except output jack). AFAIK Vilex produce passive pickups with passive mid control.
 
AAMOF - i have a spare pair of villex p'ups w/ mid control. only they are SB, not Js. ;)

anyway - i am REALLY happy how my thumb sounds. and do not feel like experimenting w/ various components. i would only like each pickup to have it's own channel.

i play it flat most of the time and don't care much about EQ.
