I just bought a second hand amp locally. It's a combo amp, but you can actually disconnect the amp from the built in driver and hook it to something else (presumable a cabinet). On top of that, it also has another output right next to that one that can also go out to a cabinet. Now, above each output it says "8 Ohms", but off to the side it says "max load @ 8 ohms = 100 watts // max load @ 4 ohms = 150 watts".

I've never used or owned a cab, so this is a mystery. I'm pretty sure it means I can hook two cabs up and it can do 2x 75 watts (4 ohms a piece) or one cab@100 watts (8 ohms for the one cab). Can someone please confirm this? I just want to make sure.

You can load two 8 ohms cabinets, or one 8 ohms cabinet, or one 4 ohms cabinet.
If you link 2X8 or 1X4 your amp will deliver 150W. If you link 1X8 your amp will deliver 100W
