so this might be the rationale for the Trujillo signature having a flat back

check out Trujillo live, most of the time his bass is somewhere near his shins so i recon a flat back would reduce knee bruises for the dood. personally i will be looking for more and more curved basses as i get fatter and fatter

And those Artist Series instruments look great, and I'm considering a Pro Series Star 5-string in Cream! I just wish they kept the pickup location of the P-Nut's bridge pickup the same as on the real sig.

I noticed that too. Although having the MM pickup closer to the bridge may be desirable for some... I definitely prefer that placement on my Wal bass.
