2011 product catalog!

What would the highlights be there? I casually browsed the one with the union jack and I can't seem to find anything new. Then again, I am not at all familiar with Warwick amps.
 
I tried to get a product catalog mailed to me once and never got one. I guess it's all online now. There's something about having a paper catalog in your hands that you can turn pages on that's nostalgic. But the days of bass porn catalogs are gone i fear.
 
Changes seem to be pages 16-19: Artist Series. They have Cherry or Alder bodies with Maple necks. A more affordable model it seems. Page 22 has a Pro Series Thumb B.O. with Ovangkol body and Maple neck. Page 22 shows a B.O. Corvette $$. Page 38 shows German Thumb B.O. as having Bubinga body. Page 44 has Star Bass Single cut. Page 45 has the 2011 Streamer Blackwood LTD. These are just a few of the changes I saw....I don't know what to say.

Am I blind, or none of this is real? I checked the catalog, and the basses are the same as always.
 
No, it's real. Try the French catalogue. ;)
 
New amps and cabs look also interesting :d
But why there's no new 2x10 cab ? Or did I miss something ?
 
No, I noticed there isn't a 2x10 cab. That's OK, 4x10 is better. If you like 2x10 try 1x15. Yes, this all real in the U.S. catalog.
 
Thumb BO (with maple neck instead of ovankol) , Streamer LX and Star Bass as Pro Series basses... interesting, and German-made Thumb BO with bubinga body instead of ovankol, Star Bass singlecut... lots of new things for 2011, that´s for sure.


And, as I predicted, the LTD Ed. for 2011 is an Streamer LX with block inlays... way cool!! :)

The catalogs are different for each country, apparently some have not been updated yet.
 
The Artist Series is interesting... kinda like Rockbass versions of the Signature Series. 8:
 
You´r right, didn´t noticed that at first. But where are those "Artist series" made? Korea?

Not sure, but I would suspect not-Germany. The 4-string version of the 'Artist Series' P-Nut probably tops the list of temptation for me so far...
 
Maybe it's just me.. but i'm NOT impressed with all the asain made knock offs.
I understand the money making idea behind it as here in the US Warwick has priced their selfs out of most markets for years so i guess this will help.
I guess i'm just a die hard fan of the old handmade in Germany.
Some models i believe( and i sure i not alone) need to be left untouched.

I think just like you, It´s nice to see new models and more options for people who can´t afford a real Warwick, but the feel and sound of a good ol´ german-made Warwick it´s irreplaceable.

Agreed. I just hope they never make a asian Thumb bass. Makes my skin crawl to think about.
 
Oh for ♣♣♣♣s sake. Stop it with the bashing of the pro-series already. Don't judge a book by its cover, and go check out Ed Friedland's review of the Pro Corvette, which was just as good as the German ones.
