    Asym neck profile?

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but, I think this should be added to the custom options. Everytime I've played a an instrument with a asymmetrical neck, it was sooo much fun to play! (especially the old tobias basses). What do you guys think?

Ordered a Corvette Double Buck 5-String, but Concerned about Neck Size

Hello all, First off, let me state that I love Warwick basses. I presently own a Streamer Jazzman 5 and Corvette Proline 5. Both were purchased brand new a few years ago, and I would not trade them for any other basses in the world. Due to a great discount and my desire to own another...

    Twisted neck problems...

All 3 of my Warwicks are late 90's models, all have pretty much spent the last 6 to 7 years with me in drop tuning, and all have a twist in their necks up near the headstock. I'm told it's caused by leaving them set up in Drop tuning, which makes sense, because the tension is less on the top...

Question about fretless Warwicks side of neck markers

I've been toying with the idea of picking up a fretless for a while now. I was wondering if someone could tell me how Warwick places the side of the neck markers on their unlined and lined fretboards. Is it one marker where every fret would be or something different. Thanks again everyone!

Slight Smile on Neck and Truss Rod Already To Tight

I just brought my bass home from having a pro setup and the guy told me that there is still a slight smile on the neck and that the Truss Rod is already to tight so he cant do anymore to it. Any advise? Need a new neck or need to take it to someone else for a second opinion?

    Warwick neck screws

Hi, I am building a new bass body as an experiment. I love my Warwick neck, but I'm interested to see what another body will do for the sound. I am using all parts from the Warwick bass except the body. The problem is that I am not building as thin a neck joint as my warwick, and therefore I...

    Corvette neck problem

Hi Guys First time on line and wondered if someone could help me out. I have an active corvette which a couple of years ago I noticed the necking bending inward resulting in a high action. I took it to my local tech who corrected it but said that he had to use all the correction in the truss...

    Neck Dimensions - Change in 2009 ?

Hi, someone told me, that warwick has changed the neck dimensions of the standard-necks a little bit for the 2009 models, they should be a little bit thinner (this don't mean the broadness but the thickness). Is this correct? If yes, what was changed exactly?

    Neck relief problem

Hi Have recently bought used corvette 5str $$ 2005 model. Ebay purchase v. cheap and before the inevitable replies about going back to dealers etc. this isn't an option. Bought as seen and seller removed himself from ebay shortly afterward - probably v. stupid. The question is how best to...

    Neck Radius

I have noticed that the last custom shop gallery entries, feature a neck radius measurement. Now, does this mean that we will see a neck radius option in the near future? Does anyone else finds this option interesting? :!:

Thumb neck dive - does changing the tuning pegs actually help?

So, I am struggling a little with the 'neck dive' of my thumb, and I read some advice about exchanging the tuning pegs for lighter ones. Has anyone here done it? Does it make for a significant difference?

Has anyone ever had their neck shape altered?

I love my Streamer BN 5 but to make it perfect I would like to change the neck profile slightly from the current D shape to what is called a modern C I think. Anyone ever had this done? Anything to be wary of other than maybe a slight change in tone. I would be getting a very reputable luthier...

    Fast neck?

I currently play a Thumb BO that I love...truly... however on stage I find the neck to be too slow ( as compared to my other bass a Fender Jazz) My style and stage antics seem to prefer a "faster" neck, and was wondering which warwick would be best for this... Thanks! B
