Even though I don't like the guys from station music I must admit that they ordered a very nice special edition.

Here are a few pics of a couple of my basses on stage with me. The lighting was perfect for some great Warwick shots of the Thumb 5 BO and the Corvette Standard Bubinga 5.

Ok lately I've been thinking A LOT about going abroad for musical studies in the future. Currently I'm attending something called MGK in Denmark, which is a pre-music conservatory course taking 3 years. My question: What is your experience with different music schools (advanced lvls)? See in...

I picked up bass about 2 years ago. I can play decent, especially other people's music. I have a real hard time, lately, writing music. I started on a 4-string in Drop-C (CGCF). I've known nothing other than this tuning and know no theory whatsoever. Where should I go from here? I play with my...

I'm watching the late night shows on tv and such and see all these HORRIBLE band playing now... Everywhere I go it's power chords, super basic drum rythms and all root note bass lines... None of the music now compares to what it use to be... Back in the classical days of Beethoven, Bach, Mozart...

I got this idea from the "music that revolves around bass" topic and what several people suggested. I would have considered several of the suggestions to be bass music, not music revolving around bass. I am not saying one is better then the other, but they are different as far as I'm concerned...

Hi all, I currently play in a gigging band, and have previously had a few lessons, but in all honesty haven't had a structured practice regime or paid much attention to learning much theory or scales. I've been more of a 'play it by ear 'til it sounds right' kinda guy. I find that I am...

I found my long forgotten folder of MP3s on my computer. I threw them all into my media player while packing for vacation. Pink Floyd "The Wall" (We don't need no education.....). What a great track! So damn simple and the bass is so dominant (besides the annoying school kids). Please post...
