Hey guys I'm working on a lot of new sh*t. Can't wait for it to be ready. In the meantime a blast from the past, my stuff from 2000. Enjoy: Lex For gearheads: track was recorded on a 5-string Fortress bass through a Trace Elliot V-type head

This guy blows my mind each time I watch the videos. Some is epic, some sounds like video game music, but it's all good IMO. He makes all the beats, and he's humble as anyone can be. Ronald Jenkees: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smE-uIljiGo another...

Ok, I admit it, I was watching televion tonight. What can I say, I haven't been feeling good, haven't been out of the house in four days, and was bored out of my mind. Anyway I watched a stupid show called "Manswers", and they investigated the question, could music kill you? So?? Can Music...

After viewing some polls here i wondered, is the amount of Metal bassist amongst Warwick users greater than other brands? To answer this question i made this poll

Hey kids Last night we did a music video for Idle Warship — this is a new project featuring Talib Kweli, Res and Graph Nobel. I had the pleasure of both sharing the stage with them, and also Swiss Chris on drums (John Legend), Ray Angry on keys (John Legend, Joss Stone, Kelis) and Dave Bailis...

Hey. guys, I've received my first ... and it's pretty cool! Obviously, it looks really different for a Warwick... but it also sounds really different. The tone is airier & more open, there's less thunder and punch than your typical Warwick. I also found it pretty interesting to see how...

i don't consider it weird, but anything that isn't jazz, rock, metal, funk etc. lately i've been listening to alot of radiohead, the roots, blackilicous, and alot of bass heavy music that breaks speakers (i haven't done it yet). it just sounds so awesome through a big 15" speaker with the bass...

Getting a bit fed up with my IT job and just wondering if there's any way to make decent money in the music industry. I don't want to do the cover band thing and I have quite a decent income at the moment. I am a good studio engineer, producer, bass player and a great organiser of people...

I went to the london international music show today and played a 'wick infinity for the first time, it was a custom 5 string with some funky features and I very nearly soiled my pants. I've never wanted anything quite so much and am considering selling my girlfriend and/or some of my less...

I received my first Hellborg system yesterday (preamp & 500W Mono PA). Wow!! Very loud, very clean, and very nice tone. I wasn't expecting to be impressed given the 100% solid state pre amp, but this rig sounds REALLY good. The Hellborg speaker cabs haven't arrived in the US yet, but they...

I was with my band in Spain, we had a concert near Madrid, in Alcala De Henares. It was a beautiful experience visiting Madrid. I saw many people, just playing their guitars for themselves. They were playing so light, almost unaudible. They don't need my apreciation, but I was welcome to join...

Hi all. Would any of you know of a good resource (online preferably but I'll read a book too) for me to learn some Bass Guitar Theory. I can read music (at about the 3rd grade level) and I sorta know which frets correspond to which notes in EADG tuning. But I think I really need to learn more...
