Hey Guys

TV IV Dogs' debut music video 'Solid Lines and Fuzzy Logic' is now streaming online at...

The vid was shot in January this year, and to our surprise was done in HD! Generally I'm pretty stoked with it! There's a 'band in boxers' scene at the end of the vid, but throughout it, my streamer covers up my boxers, and I look like I'm playing naked! :P

Would love to hear everyone's take on the song and the video...so excited to finally have a video under my belt! It's hopefully gonna debut on local Tv in the next week or so, we're just waiting for the beta tapes!

Pretty entertaining, I'd see bands like your's if it weren't for the fact of location.

Was that Irish Spring I saw in your hand?

I can only imagine you mean some kind of soap? Man....it took the directors sooo long to convince me to soap my streamer up...eventually just went with it and fudged the strings up a little...they needed changing anyhow!
 
Plug the aerial in, you might get a picture on the tv then :lol:

Yeah, well it looked like Irish Spring. It had that lovely shade of green that looks good enough to eat.

That was really cool,I liked it heaps.
The singer looks kinda like our Kev eh.The bass sounds wicked.
Good job,if it was mine,I'd be pretty chuffed.

Hehe...it's a laundry soap called Sunlight, but I imagine it's probably a whole lot like Irish spring!
 
Well...after a long and arduous band meeting, we've decided to re-record the track before sending it on anywhere...we all kinda feel like the sound we got there is cool, but it really can't compare to our live sound, or the sound we've been getting on the newer recordings at our new studio of choice.

And soooo....we're back in studio tomorrow and the next day laying down that one, as well as brand new one, whihc promises to be our craziest and funkiest song yet (it's about a crab...)! I feel like we're gradually getting stranger and stranger as we go! each song is a good 25% wierder than the last one!
 
Well...it's been a looooong fucking recording session, but we've finally finished laying the new tracks, and they are sounding AWESOME!!! Can't wait to hear the final mixes! We ended up recording 'Solid Lines and Fuzzy Logic' (the vid track) once more, as well as laying down a new one called 'In Funk We Trust'.

I had a bit of a rough time though....I was carrying my amp up the stairs to the studio, and I slipped on some wet tiles at the top of the stairway, smashed my knee on the tiles (major pain...I've never really had a knee injury before and it SUCKS!), and hurling my amp a good 2 metres onto hard tiles. Lucky for me, it's an ultra tough H&K Basskick combo, and it survived the fall in perfect working order, but the cabinet was a bit dented and split open along one seam. It still sounded great, but I'm super bummed.

Also used my newly upgraded 10 string in the new tracks, and managed to get an amazing tone out of it using a Tech 21 Sansamp DI...will post some clips when I get em ;)
 
The song and, especially, the voice & interpretation of the singer reminds me the 1970 release of .
 
Haha! dude, we've had such a bizarre range of comparisons to pretty much everybody from Godsmack to Frank Zappa, but yours is officially my favourite! :)

wasn't Sebastian Bach from Skid row Jesus in JCS at some point?
