hey i have an idea: picture this:...a bass with 2 MM style pickups or dual coil...with 3 band of EQ. the MM style humbucker ,can be wired in series,parallel,and single coil. plus you got the 3 band eq'' low,mid,hi'' ok now to the point... you can do this with the bridge humbucker...
