Gone crazy?

I've sold every Warwick I've had, a Corvette STD 4 and a Thumb BO 5 fretless, an actually beautiful chunk'o'wood. Now for the first time in my life I own nothing but an acoustic guitar. This is something so unusual for me, in over 15 years of bass playing, that I felt the needing to share this moment.
Am I gone crazy or what? Am I in desperate need of money? What the hell was passing in my mind that day on eBay? Nothing but simply collecting money for my wish bass. A Thumb NT 5 fretless bass (wondering about ordering it in ash, to enhance the double bass like sound)! A +2700 euros expense. I hope my girl isn't looking at this message..

My friend you are being guided by forces beyond your comprehension to your dream bass. I have experienced this phenomenon where one morning you decide to sell your beloved instrument, for what seems no good reason you just do it. If your dream is a V string Thumb NT then that is what you must get or a lifetime of despair awaits! :wink:

what can i tell you..selling warwicks is good as long as it helps getting others :wink:

Off topic, but I have to say that every time I see that picture of Malk's CS $$ I think "Man, I bet that thing sounds awesome!"

Ian,just stop & think for a week before you sell your Streamer.Now you're a young guy & I was young once so I know we can be a little impulsive.I care about ya mate otherwise I wouldnt be posting this.You arent ever going to get a better bass than yours.Try to resist the crowd mate,I know these Fenders are collectible but they're nowhere near the quaility of your bass.

man think about it before. Leave yourself at least a month to think about it. I love the jazz basses (I got one), but hey, I don't think I'd do that if I had your bass. At least if you sell tell us the price I might be very interested in your très magnifique et unique basse.

The decision is ultimately yours - I also voted for your bass as the best in that poll - I really think its more unique than any vintage Fender out there - But as long as you get a Rockbass along with the Fender I guess we can let ya stay here - JK, we're all respectful here :wink:

Sorry if I scared you dudes... I'll never sell my Streamer ! (Never say never, yes but still...)

It's MY bass, I chose its specs, and I LOVE it. I was just kidding about the fact that some people are going crazy when it's about old pieces of woods like Fenders and so on...
