Who is your favourite Warwick endorses and why?

Among the choices, I would say P-Nut. But just because I'm not much familiar with the others and there are some that I don't like that much.

Also I don't know if he is an endorser, but I would like to mention Ryan Martinie.

I misunderstood your post "I guess he left when he heard about what was going on with the workers there, but still... " as referring to workers at Warwick, not Cort. Others have posted on this forum in an inflammatory manner with regard to Warwick, and I thought this was the same. Had I known you were referring to Cort instead I wouldn't have responded in this way.

@Florin and Greg, looking at this Thread i wonder if this big response is because the Warwick endorsers do not have their own 'section' in this forum, maybe such a section is wished for by them? Is it something worth suggesting?
If so, it might be a great section to talk to Lex, James, Ryan, TM, Jonas and you name em. it would be like a sort of open channel to ask our endorsers question and other things, i personally think it is a cool idea.
 
1) Ryan Martinie, a person that does not compose in order to impress kids who play along Guitar Pro and brag about mad skills and slapping and all, but to create a FEELING with his bass, a rare characteristic for a metal bassist. Do I need to say that he is in the DEFINITE 10 best metal bassist of all time? I claim that. He just seem to put all notes where they belong. And his tone is amazing, probably the best Warwick tone i've heard.
2) Dick Lövgren, the best bassist Meshuggah ever had (and they had a lot). He is excellent with his pick in Meshuggah and he plays like devil with his fingers on his solo jazz project. Also has a very sweet sense for tone. A great bassist.
3) Jack Bruce.

Also, i'd like to add something for a former endorser, Paul Gray. I never liked him very much, but since he died i started to listen Slipknot more closer, and i noticed that he had a killer, amazing tone with a pick. His Streamer sounds just awesome on the entire "Subliminal Verses: Vol.3"

Hi Bas,

To have a dedicate separate forum would mean to have an incredible activity there to need one. We had and have some very cool guys among us and I've noticed that the general interest is ... medium...

I am afraid that it will be an empty forum :-)

i don't mean a forum, i mean a section like warwick basses and Madrakkett's cafe...
 
Greg, yes i mean things like that. that's a perfect example of what would fill a section like that
 
One of the nicest and friendliest endorsers alive - Ryan Martinie - said he cannot even reply to emails, since it takes too much time. Instead he will gladly answer to our questions on the phone.

Mr. Stuar Zender replied to 2 parts of the interview, and then stopped.

They simply have no time to be active on a forum, and if they are not active, the forum will look bad, sad and empty.

Mr James Lomenzo ins incredibly kind to reply here to our questions, and again... not many users are actually taking advantage of this opportunity...

And this is the worse part. People here have actually very little interests in learning from the elders. I've tried this both here, and in my forum xbass.ro and it was kind of embarrassing. There we have Mr Adam Nitti, replying to all the questions. Nobody asked him nothing in the last 2 years...

I hope you understand now why I don't see this now.

But it still is a great Idea, and why not, maybe we can do something about it!
 
Florin, is see what you mean, yes that would be a showstopper, but then again it could be a section in which we could also talk ABOUT endorsers like in this thread.

don't want to crash the party - but don't you think this forum has more than enough subsections? Why don't we just continue talking about endorsers in threads, concerning them - and maybe because of an actual event. I must admit I quite a lot of times don't browse all the subs and have missed a lot of great threads. Activity rises if you concentrate all the people on some big places - imo we have to much subs already, but I wouldn't even have an idea how to merge them so I'm gonna shut up now :)

@Florin - I think a lot of people don't have the guts to ask questions to the pros,... I know it, from whenever I met one. There's a lot of things you want to ask someone, but the moment this person is really available for you questioning, all your problems seem stupid. I would love if more endorsers would be active by themselves here, answering, contributing - maybe even just jibbering among each other. But like you said, they often don't have time to do so. I loved the way Seth and Markus once started it, but they are not with Warwick anymore, sadly :/

I know I asked Mr. Lomenzo all the questions I could ask. He is a real gentlemen and amazing bassist. I agree with more Endorsers stopping by and chatting, but it could be a problem. Mr. Lomenzo hasn't been on in a while to answer anymore question, my guess is because of touring. A lot of them tour, record albums, and take a breather from it all and don't feel like or can not do this thing called "internet" or "forums". I know some are almost illiterate when it comes to computers. Anywhere from my grandmother to a famous artist.
 
Asking questions of endorsers, most namely, Ask Jlo thread, I haven't been posting there much cause Im always afraid of chasing them off. You know, its a lot like meeting a big name player in real life, the last thing they want is some fanboy standing around asking a million questions. So i try and take the sit around and look cool position, jump in the conversation when I have something inteligent to say (so yes, I keep my mouth shut a lot) and basically try not to look like a jag off. So online I guess that I am so happy he is here that I would hate to overwhelm him with questions and scare him off. I think a lot of us are probably of that thought so what might appear as lack of interest is more fear of imposing upon him.

Personally, I always thought it would be cool if some of the endorsers would come on here and start blogs. That way we know when they are around or when they will be gone a while on some project or other. It would also be a place they should share interesting tid bits every now and then. You know the stuff I think we all want to hear about, " a funny thing happened during sound check" or "a funny thing happened on the way to the forum" hehehe. I guess it would kind of like the businessman puting out his shingle when hes open for business.
 
I saw Limp Bizkit last night in Lyon, it was great ! Sam is a good player with great skills, and his Streamers and W amp stack are to die for !!!

So i listened to some other recent Limp Bizkit stuf and found out the bass sounds of these later vids have got much more substance than the older vids, i guess it is because of the Streamers he uses nowaday instead of the ibanezes he use 12 to 10 years ago.
