Well 2007 was and is a great year for Warwick, the celebration of the 25th anniversary, also the introduction of new Basses like the Corvette NT, the Taranis, the Dark Lord, The new versions of the Stryker, the return of Streamer LX and of course the ass kicking Flamin' Blonde.
Not to mention the new Hellborg Amp System and the increse of custom shop options giving us all even wider and wilder CS possibilities.
So after so many good things in 2007 , what are you guys expecting from Warwick in 2008?

I personally would love to see once again the Fortress series back on business, even better a Fortress NT or a Fortress $$ it would be a killer :D :D

personally, i think the fortress is coming.

it's the most wonderful bass ever, the new old stock ones have sold like mad... Warwick would be CRAZY not to bring it back... and i think they'll do it in true NT $$ style.

I don't know if we can expect these things, but here are things that would be nice:

-A 6-string MM-style humbucker, opening the possibility for 6-string $$...
-A 6-string Vampyre, possibly on the bolt-on Dark Lord platform...
-A production Nobby, more affordable than the 25th anniversary special edition...
-Fortresses would be nice...
-A compact Jonas Hellborg Combo...

I would like to see the Fortress come back NT style. I'm not a big fan of those big ol' humbuckers, so an NT with TJ and a P would be sweet. The one bass I've regretted selling is a Fortress.....

Well, I think the Hellborg combo is not an option in near future, considering that the preamp combined with the power sistem and a cabinet would do a higher price...The power would fit the necesities of a combo though...I think is more affordable to buy the modules one by one and not spending for all-in-one combo. Remember that the Hellborg sistem was build for quality, not price...

I'd love to see a RockBass Dolphin or Buzzard. Howzabout the bass being designed here with a special price for forum members of $500.00. :D

I must admit, the Fortress was my favourite 'original' Warwick design. There's nothing prettier than a through neck Streamer, but there's something about the Fortress shape I've always loved.

I wonder why they discontinued it - i suppose it was too expensive next to the Corvette Std.

yeah i think a RockBass dolphin (based on the bolt on design of the Pro II) would be a nice addition to the RockBass family.

.... or my Lycan design ;)

They should hold a design contest like they did for the Vampyre in order to get a new and exciting design...

You know, the one I'll send them!

]Here's the mockup

WOW, I like it!!

I'm a big Nikki Sixx Fan, so its based on his spector design (dr feelgood era), spector also made a Rex Brown (pantera) signature, which is very simillar.

yeah it was a RB streamer. was gonna keep the passive vintage soapbars, but decided to put a tet of active jazzs in it, and a 3 band seymour eq

A 6 string MM Humbucker is really really interesting also... never thought of that .

About the 2008 Special edition what to expect? We've seen new thumb basses and some cool 'vettes how about a ass kicking special editon Infinity? or better a special edition fortress, it would be a major return...

...And a 6 string version of SSII would be great too :P
