Miles came to my home town in 1989 but I was to impoverished to get a ticket (will always regret the beers I drank the week before the tickets were released!!! but hey student life:(()

Anyways, always loved this Miles album / score, just for the purity of it:

One of my favourite albums ever!

Yeah Flo, one of those that should be compulsory in school :d The pieces themselves are criminally short but that was a function of the recording process used for it I guess.

Some of my favourite drumming by Kenny Clark and the use of reverb is stunning in the production. I don't have them to hand (long since digitised and now in the attic) but there's a great comment in the liner notes about a small piece of Mile's lip skin becoming detached during Générique and contributing to the tone, kinda like that thought :d Never looked, but do you know if there are any extended versions of Générique in particular in his live repetoire?

Have this on vinyl, great to find it tonight!!!

Ok we got one song done and even shot a little crappy video for it at our practice space. It makes no sense and the song is about a diabetic rodeo which also makes no sense. but someone on this thread said when we get something done to post it so here it is....Sorry:roll:

That's good stuff. No pretension, just fun. And the Sabbath-y riffage is really cool. Nice job Richard!

BTW, I'm putting up one of those "Band $#&* Up" Boards in our rehearsal space. I'll credit the Lovecrafts! LOL

LOL Nice! we take that thing to shows and write on it. the crowd gets a kick out of that. It is just a fun video. A little humor from all the recording. glad you liked it.

Been listening to this for a year or so now, luv it:
