I've been looking at the pictures of rockbasses, and is it just me who thinks that the rockbasses look nice enough except the Streamer that looks like a toy?!?!?

Not trying to troll, but the Warwick Streamer looks so nice and deserve a better rockbass. The Rockbass Corvettes and the Rockbass Fortesses look sweet, and the Vampyre rockbass look awesome in comparison.

Any thoughts? Need Rockbass redesign their old streamer rockbass toy-design?

well there's a good reason why the rockbass streamer is the least expensive of the rockbass line...

the streamer LX Rockbass looks alot better than the STD.

The Streamer Rockbass is rather "slab-bodied", but I've got no complaints considering what I paid for it. Body contouring costs money!

Yea was a bit disappointed about the lack of body shaping but still amazing bass's =D

bingo!

the essence of the streamer shape is the contouring... this is why it loses out a little with the slab body...

You MUST check out the 2007 Warwick catalogue: the Streamer Standard with two pickups looks like a bass worth like 1500 Euro.

A LITTLE? Totally ruins the shape IMNSHO. The Fortress and Vette are well hard contoured. If they did that for the Streamer I'd be all over it.

yup, but then they would be twice the price, at the same level as the fortresses and the vampyres...

I remember playing the streamer with the big pickups and it was really nice to play and had an amazing sound. I don't see whats wrong with it.

I'll keep a beady eye out for a decent one on Ebay, I do like the shape. So far I got the Fortress 5 for around $350 and the Corvette 4 for $260. Both in excellent to near mint condition.
