Warwick RockCase ABS10505 Flight Case

I know it says Flight Case, but just how safe is this to allow baggage handlers to "take care of" my baby using this case over a short one and a half hours flight? I'm stuck between this and Hiscox STD bass case.

I think the Warwick one would fit the Corvette's unique shape better, but I've read so many good things about the Hiscox case, and in the past I have always used them. Please convince me to buy this product

Nobody can guarantee that baggage handlers are going to treat your belongings with the same care you yourself would.Ask the airline of you can take the bass on as hand luggage,in a gig bag.If they say it's too big,tell them you can unscrew the neck & halve it's size.You'll be fine.

Hi Greg, I'm pretty sure there is no chance of me being able to take it on as hand luggage as it is a small "puddle jump" across to mainland Europe. I contacted the airline and they said that it would have to go in the hold.

It's been suggested on other threads that I could unscrew the neck too, but I'm a little unsure of if it would damage the bass when I put it back together. The bass is bubinga, which I believe is a pretty hard wood. I'm a little worried I would dethread the fittings between the neck and body (

I have travelers insurance which I believe covers me, I'll get it checked out, and I'll contact the airline in regards to damages if something should happen.
