I notice on the recently revised Warwick Website that they are listing the following amps under the Pro FET section:

Pro FET 5.1
Pro FET 5.2 230v
Pro FET 3.2
Pro FET 3.3 230v

I thought the Pro FET 5.2 and 3.3 would be replacing the 5.1 and 3.2, so I'm surprised to see them all listed together.

Just wondering if the 5.1 and 3.2 are to be discontinued or will be produced for only certain markets whilst the 5.2 and 3.3 will go into other markets, or if they'll all be available simultaneously?

I'm not 100% certain on this but I think the new models will replace the old ones.I cant see the point in selling 2 versions of the same, very basic amp.

That's exactly what I thought Greg, but the website had only the new 5.2 and 3.3 listed for a while, and then brought back the old 3.2 and 5.1 alongside the new ones, but specifically lists the new ones with a 230v designation in the title which gave me the idea that they might only be for certain markets.

???

;)

Anyone at Warwick have the lowdown on this?

The 230v amps are intended for those countries like ours.
Unlike the USA which only has pissy 110v.
Trust us Aussies to over-do it.

Yeah I realise the voltage differences in different countries.

That's why I'm asking the question. :D

Are they only releasing a 230v version of the Pro FET5.2, and keeping the Pro FET 5.1 for the remaining countries?

;)

No.The 5.2 will replace the 5.1 in all countries.

OK - just seems bizarre that they list the 5.2 specifically as only being 230v on the website.

....;)
