I am going to be buying a hard case for my Corvette Standard and wanted to know if Warwick made a quality case. I can't seem to find any in stock locally so I'll have to order it. Because of that I won't be able to check it out first.

Also, will Warwick's basses fit in any other case besides Warwick cases?

Thanks!

I use the Warwick molded plastic cases with aluminum trim, modeled after the SKB style for my Thumbs. They fit great. So great that I woulld not fear to ship my bassses in them.

Warwick also has Flight cases that are truly ironclad, modeled after the Anvil cases for serious road work.

I didn't have such great luck with Gator cases. It turned out that to make my basses fit, I had to cut and add foam to the case to get 'the fit'. There just ain't nuthin' like the real thing.

FWIW,

O

Great, thanks! I looked on Warwick's site, and they only have the standard rectangular case. Is this the one you are talking about?

I use the case pitured above. They are great for general handling, if your touring, they can get knocked around a bit. But great value for money for a general heavy duty case.

Cheers

i use a regular SKB shaped for fenders but fits my corvette just fine. may shift around a little but i'm not touring and i usually use my gigbag to transport it around. general storage at home only ;)

Thanks for all the input, I appreciate it! I may just go with the Warwick case pictured above. Unless I happen to find something better.
