I was playing a local TV station morning show and a sound engineer accidentally knocked my bass over! It fell flat on the face which resulted in a broken nut and a bad crack in the headstock on the E A side. The crack is along the contour of the headstock inside the pegs and runs up along the NT and can be felt on the top, rear side of the headstock. They have insurance and say they will cover the repair or, if necessary, replacement.
I live in central California.
Is anyone aware of a reputable shop who could handle this repair or should I package it up and send it to the factory in Germany?

The timing was terrible! This was the 1st of 5 gigs over 3 weekends. I had brought a long an Epiphone Thunderbird as a back-up. I didn't expect to be on live TV playing a $200 bass

I picker up a nice Yamaha 4string at the local guitar center to play at a blues festival the following day. It was OK but it sure as hell wasn't a Warwick!
My advice - when you buy a Warwick, buy two!
