I dont think I am the only person who has had a JANII break on them ( I some peeps getting pretty hot about it on here). But i think I know why they go. The JAN II is not particularly strong in resisting shear forces ie. movement parallel to the neck due to the small tabs holding it together...

I recently purchased a really nice 2001 std steamer bass from ebay in the UK. The only problem with the bass is a nasty ding on the bottom of the body. Does anyone have advice on how I can repair this? Best Wishes 8)
