I've tested the thumb and the Streamer LX and the sound was there. I agree with oil finish, I like it better.

To me it sounded like the original one, no difference. The real character is shown in the mix though, and I bet the German one is tighter.

Cool. It has only a two band EQ, though, right? Bass and treble only? Did you find that limiting with regards to the tone you could get from the bass?

How´s cherry wood compared to maple?

Old Streamer Bolt-on had cherry wood bodies and maple necks, right? So it´s safe to say that the new PS Streamer LXs are similar in tone with the old Streamer Bolt-on?

Yes the first Streamer BO where cherry body basses - most likely the will sound similar
