Damn those Thumbs do look nice. Once our dealer gets back up and running after the quake (moved premises, repainted and are getting stock in now) I hope to get my hands on one to try. They already have some German and Korean 'vettes in store (or did) to try so will have to do that too. Will definitely save up to get a 4 or 5 string Proline Thumb if the G vs K test on the Corvettes pan out the way I think it will. :)
 
Price is really good if the quality is similar (which I'm pretty sure they are after seeing korean made Laklands).

EDIT: I just really don't dig the lacquer finish. I love my BO 5 waxed.

OMG!

Mayor Streamer LX GAS attack!

Is it me, or that "black" Streamer LX 4 looks kindda RED? (and I´m not talking about the strings).

Nah - it's just the angle and lighting... that's not a solid high polish black finish, it's the much nicer (IMHO) black stain finish. It's a black stain with a clear high polish coating over it - you can see the timber through it. It's more dark grey than black.

;)
 
C´mon, I´m not blind... I know it´s not a solid black finish, and I know 2 or 3 things about lighting and photography.

Next time I will keep my "stupid thoughts" to myself, so I won´t get what I already know as an answer... ¬¬

Do I know a few things about Warwicks and Rockbasses. Yes. I believe I do... I've been studying them for about 8 years. Does that mean I think I know everything? I don't think so. I simply enjoy most people's company here, and enjoy helping people by answering questions to which I know the answer... I certainly don't know all the answers - that's why you'll find I don't answer all the questions. When I do answer a question, I am usually pretty sure I know the answer, so I can answer it authoritatively.

Does that make me a smartarse - wanting to help people (friends) on a forum?

What did I do in a previous life to piss you off?

LOL. This is the kinda crap I usually get myself into. hence the name OwdKasd. Seriously though, the bass does look reddish to me as well even slightly brownish/red.

Okay, I'll stop posting these... I think it's safe to say if you were GASing for one, they can be had.
