The Heads Up Thread

The '91 did not have a separate battery compartement. But after placing the Noll 3-band there isn't place left in the electronics compartement
Every early 90's stage 1 i've seen has a seperate battery compartiment! But all of them different.
Mine has one too, but it has stock MEC electronics.

The fretlines on my Corvette fretless look identical.

mayba a „stupid“ and completly off-topic question...sorry: how to contact sellers at Mercantino Musicale? To my understanding you are supposed to register/sign up? but only accept „Italian citizens“??:oops::oops::oops:
I am the stupid bass player, sorry:p
I did register - senza problemi o_O
communication can be though

Early Nobby without the serial number plate. Is it just missing or did the early models not have one?

Warwick Nobby Meidel 1983 E-Bass, € 1.000,- (6135 Stans) - willhaben
all should have had a serial number plate..looks like one of the first models (rosewood neck)..according to HPW those necks were prone to „twisting“ /warping...therefore, they changed to wenge...start of Warwick‘s „success story“ (wenge necks):);)
I would check that bass before buying:cool:

Lacquer looking quite a bit scratched. You would need better pictures, also from the 'headstock'. Price is ok-ish.
The electronics compartement cover and screws don't look right...

..looks too mint for 25 years...;):D
That's not it, the routes and cavaties on this look like they have been made bigger to accomodate different hardware.
The only Warwick I have that has that much empty space between the pickups and bridge is one I swapped bridges and pickups with.
