The Heads Up Thread

Man, after having my hands on it for an hour, I spotted a guy playing a Rockbass that was tagged at 600 or so. I told him, here try this, and handed him the Thumb. He seemed to like it. I then proceed to act like a salesman for Warwick/Guitar Center and try to talk him into buying it.

Seriously wish I even had $1200 of sellable stuff to fund this thing. The playing for a week then selling for profit doesnt sound like a bad idea either.

If this were a sixer, I wouldn't be telling you about it until after I had it in my hands :!: But it's a 5, and looks like a good deal to me.

The battery door set within the main electronics cover is something I haven't seen before. Were many like this? It looks like a good arrangement!

Is that dolphin body made of ash? I think it looks like it...
 
Looks like ash, love the two-tone LEDs. Also looks like something VERY bad has happened to the neck :(
 
Looks like paint around the first fret or so.... I'm think a big ding or chunk was broken off... or worse, the head broke clean off.
