The Heads Up Thread

The control layout makes me sad, I wonder what the 26th fret inlay says...

Yeah that DP1 has been posted in this thread a few times. It's come down in price a little bit in the last few weeks. Same with the one from Guitar Center for like 2.8k or so.

For US peeps... 2009 LTD. Price a little steep at 2k. Though ya don't see too many of these come up.

There's old streamer for sale on polish gumtree equivalent.

At around 1300 EUR.

Don't know the guy, but thought some of You guys might like it. I'm sorted with SSII. ;)

(dont try, I contacted him first... I need a Fretless Streamer, and this ebony fingerboard would be perfect.
idem for this one, too : https://www.mercatinomusicale.com/m...n-breve-periodo-non-trattabile_id4105265.html
Don't try to buy these basses, it's for me^^ )

love this one :

fair price isn't it ?

a beauuuutiful trans-black Dolphin pro II + EMG
https://www.mercatinomusicale.com/mm/a_warwick-dolphin-pro2-emg-scambio_id4497169.html
a bit expensive, but I think you can discuss the price. (Italian people ^^)

The Zebrano infinity has been there for a long time. It was €900 for quite some time so may be some bartering is possible.

This whole BO/NT/SN is a gimmick anyway,

People who hear and can tell differences between them must have superman ears,

Then even over drums, guitars etc? Plleaseeeeee

All sounds like a quality bass to me,

Every BO Warwick I have owned as always ended up being a disappointment for me. :(

Streamer ain't a Broadneck. I'm officially A BroadNeck fanboy.
The Pro2 is really expensive. And I Already have a transblack. Too bad. EMG's should be a great replacement.

I'm really regretting passing on a Dolphin Pro2 last year, 550€, trans-green. I would have fitted it with gold hardware and cream EMG's. Or DiMarzios.

it seems to be the only point where we have different taste .......

BTW,
do you think that this blue Streamer is fair priced ?
I am wondering if I will buy it.....
this bass could become a wonderful fretless bass, with this ebony fingerboard.

the seller is kind,
and he's ok to ship it to France for a very little price.
so, if you confirm that the price is honest, I will think about buying it...
BECAUSE IT'S A BLUE BASS

IMO this blue streamer is more than fair. It's in the Bargain Zone. (not the "It's a steal", neither in "the too late I bought it", or the "Sold within 3 minutes" zone :-) )
Today, a Streamer LX5 tembuilt is around 2200€, so when you hit the 1/3rd of the price new, with better quality (bronze frets and all)... I'd say go for it.
The other one with Bartolini's has been heavily modded, but price is even lower. I would not buy it without seeing it or having a lot of better pics.

I tried EMGs in my Pro II before, they just don't suit the bass sound... the stock MECs are better.

PS: and I would not say, that I don't like EMGs. I actually think about getting a pair for my Thumb BO 6.
