The Heads Up Thread

[Hardy]

Didn´t know there is an active version! Must be a Custom Shop!

I was kidding! This is a "plain" Streamer bolt on (the later LX), produced maybe around 1993. No broadneck.

Stage 2 bolt on apperantly.

SSII Bolt-On???? That doesn´t makes any sense, tbh.

Streamer BO (or LX) in any case.

[Dazed]

Ok but LX's are Broadneck. So is this?

not in general - only LX BN is broadneck and comes with Soapbars instead of Js

No, LX´s are not broad neck by standard, although there are some BN LX´s, which I assume are Custom orders.

[thefitz]

I'd be floored if more than 10% of Streamer LXs were broadnecked. Amazed if it's more than 5%, frankly.

[Gnermo]

Judging from the ones that come for sale it's more like 90%, the word means money and sellers know it.

[thefitz]

I haven't seen that at all, and we shouldn't be using "money" and "sellers" in the context of used Warwicks.

That's nice, but I broke even selling my 1992 fretless SSII with the Steve Bailey system for $2k shipped

[Dazed]

With the current exchange rate and even import duties that's a fairly low price!

A guy recently bought an early SSII fretless 4 string retail over here for £1500!
