Swapping necks on my Corvettes

how far off are the holes,and do any line up at all.I swaped the necks between my vett and std streamer,I just drilled new mounting holes.And both necks went on fine.If the old holes and where the new ones would go have a little meat between them there shouldn't be a problem.But if they just touch then you would have to do like greg said and fill the old holes.

they were only a little bit off...IOW, the tip of the screw could reach the existing hole, but at an angle..so I'd have to go the fill & re-drill route.

If had to fill all the holes and drill new ones I wouldn't have done any of my neck swaps.I don't mind drilling new holes but to do the job right and dowel all the holes is more work then I would like to do.
