Streamer STD.???

What about the Streamer STD. model? How are they? I've seen a few for really low prices and i'm thinking of buying one.
 
in my opinion if you're talking about the original warwick version, after having owned one now for about a year and half, they're really great basses, very stripped down however. no actives and a simple one piece bridge. but if you can find one on ebay its a worthwhile buy. mines a 1 pickup version, it sounds very mellow for fingers and if you pull up the coil tap switch you can get some suprisingly sweet picking/slap sounds out of it. my only gripe would be that the stock MEC pickup that comes with it is rather low output, but if u just alter the gain on your amp it shouldnt be a problem.

i'm looking to replace the stock pickup with a bartolini, as they seem to be the only company who offer a replacement of the same shape/size.

I agree with fatstrings, I own one and love the way the Corina wood sounds. The pickups sound really mellow. 8)
