Streamer Stage 1 w/Ebony fretboard

Hey, I'm new to the forum. Thought I'd share a few pics of my weapon of choice, it's a Streamer Stage 1 with a few custom options. I went for an Ebony fret board because I like the feel of it and the zing that it adds to slap bass and finger tapping. As you can see I went for black hardware and there's also a D tuner on there.





The adjust a nut II broke on the edges the first time i changed the strings so I replaced it with the new adjust a nut III

That's a beautiful bass.

If I got to choose now then it would be an ebony fretboard and black hardware on mine as well. It makes such a nice contrast towards the bright body.

It's got a zingy sound to it but it retains that nice warmth that maple gives off. It doesn't sound all that much different to the standard Streamer Stage 1 but if you're an absolute geek about tone woods (like me!) then you'll probably be able to hear the difference. I'll have a couple of funky tunes up on myspace soon and I'll use this bass to record them so I'll post links to the sound clips here.
