hey fellow warwick lovers
was wondering if anyone knew of any good solo bassists. theres vic wooten, a phenomenal bassists and is heaps main stream (hes awesome, don't take it like im bagging him out). Just really want to broaden my horizons as a solo artist and any names will be greatly appreciated

just a coupla i've been listening to lately:

Tony Grey (plays together with Hiromi, a really awesome jazz pianist)
Ric Fierabracci (check out mojo - tapestry. plays with ginger bakers son Kofi Baker)
Steve Bailey (friend of wootens. fretless extravaganza :) )
Jeff Berlin (Bruford - One of a Kind, Eeeeexcellent album!)
Stuart Zender (jamamamamamiroquai)

No, really! :)

I'm actually quite new to the whole solo bass thing, even newer to the songwriting thing... So besides the fact my music is a very personal to me, every person who likes it counts! That will always be the case.

you have done an amazing job at capturing your emotions in the songs. all along the way made me feel a sense of peace and made me silenced. and sky high, it gave me a sense of weightlessness (like i was sky high).
thats some mind blowing stuff, keep at it!

Seriously,Kev is well worth checking out.
Some day I'll be able to say,"I knew Kev before he was a star".
