It's holding up fine, but I still have a ways to go in making good use of it...

Right now I have it uninstalled so I can readjust the spacing on the string ball-end claws. I'm also looking into ideas of how I can cover the area where the luthier plugged the cavity left from the original tail piece. I'm thinking of a thin chrome plate, but it would have to be glued down. I'm also looking at trimming a Warwick sticker and strategically placing it over the area...

:lol: Been married for almost 13 years and have 3 wonderful kids, so smacking the "NHS" tag on something like that was the furthest thing from my mind. I might be a noob to the forum, but this isn't my first car ride. So, get your mind out of the gutter! :P

Ben, I love the pic of the Thumb in the grass, looks like it came out of a nature show. Can you hear the commentary (David Attenborough style): Here we see the ellusive Thumb bass in it's natural habitat. If we're careful, we might be able to get quite close. Despite their famous growl these are actually quite friendly beasts.

Thanks for the kind words Lex , I'm really satisfied with all my warwick gear. for me it's simply perfect.

i really really really really want a fretless. im most cmmfortable on broadneck frellesses, and i want a maple fretless bass. its just a shame that i love the SS1 so much. i probably wont find one second hand anyway though.
