The quality if the timber used in Rockbasses is great.
It's just different type of timber. That's all.
Maple instead of Ovangkol.
Rosewood instead of Wenge.
Alder instead of Bubinga for example.
Different timbers, different tones. That's all. The timber is simply less exotic, and cheaper. Try telling some of the many high end and custom luthiers that use maple rosewood and alder that their timber is low quality.
...and so what if it's made in China?
That comment simply smacks of ignorance and racism :x
It's not the country of origin that determines the quality of a product, it's the individual factory and it's quality controls.
