I've just bought a new Corvette std 4 in Honey Violin, as a sister to my Bubinga std 5er. It has a small mark on the top horn which I would like to get rid of. You can just feel the damage with the tip of your finger, and the natural colour of the ash is showing through the finish. How can I darken the ash so the mark is less visible, or better still, invisible. On a side note I am fairly sure that this finish doesn't require waxing. Could someone confirm this please. Also the manual says you can use oil on the neck. Does it mean Lem oil (like I use on my fretboard) or something else. (I've used the wax on my other 'vette but I think it makes the neck feel sticky). TIA for any advice
