Quick Warwick Cab question....

Hi All,

I used to play a Pro FET 5.1 + 211 Pro, and 410 Pro cabs. Loved them, but sold them and bought a couple of Eden Nemesis Combos.

I like The Nemesis combos just fine, but just for fun I've been thinking of the Warwick gear again - especially since the Pro FET 5.2 sounds like it has been a little further refined.

Anyway - the ads for the older non-neo Warwick cabs such as the 211 Pro, 410 Pro, 411 Pro, and 611 Pro used to list them as using either standard, or custom Eminence drivers.

The current specs omit Eminence from the descriptor.

Cany anybody tell me if the Pro series cabs still use Eminence drivers, or have Warwick changed the speaker used in these cabs?

Yes.

I wonder if that's why the Warwick Neo cabs are cheaper than every other brand of Neo cab.

As far as I know, the speakers are still manufactured at Eminence..so somehow I don't think this could be the reason why the neo-cabs are cheaper. Perhaps they're just investing? Like selling them at a lower price with less profit for Warwick, so they sell more and even out the profit-margin?

Warwick can buy the speakers in bulk & pass that saving on.
