Question about a CS Streamer possibilities

I am gassing for a Warwick Streamer and the idea is 6string model excluding the SS1.
My question is if can be possible to have a SS2 with 6 strings broadneck or the custom shop only does that to the LX models? and can they made a SS2 with 7 strings? that would be amazing a fabulous SS2 7 stringer with that NT construction.
Another question, Is the Kahler vibrato still available? I've search the CS options but i can't find it there :?
 
Both your ideas work but they would have to be SSI's with the wood of the SSII's.

So it would be
SSI-6 string or 7 string non broadneck
Afzelia body
Ovangkol neck
 
As far as I can tell from the info I have, there is no problem with having a SS2 in broad neck... I'm not entirely sure about having it in 6-string, but if 6-string broadneck exists, then there is no problem in having 7 strings...

As for the Kahler vibrato system, it's avialable through the CS in 4, 5, or 6-string version, in normal and broadneck versions...

Well i just tried a SSI and it's not the bass for me also I was told at my local shop that there's no SSII 6 string available tru custom shop :cry:
but I've tried a Streamer Lx and I loved the bass, Not a NT model but I loved the way it sounded, so I Thinking in a Streamer LX 6 string Broadneck with a Kahler Vibrato System , TigerStripe Ebony Fretboard With a Nirvana Black Coloured oil finish and black hardware......so can anybody give me the price for this one? European Price would be great to know...

IMO. Check this out with your dealer !
 
That's cool, I tought it would be much more expensive, also here in Portugal Warwick Basses seem to be less expensive than they are at musicstore or Thomann, so probably that custom would cost me a little bit less than those prices you gave me Ian.
For example the Thumb Bass 6 string NT costs 3466 euros at musicstore and I only paid 2700euros here in Portugal.

You're welcome, but be sure to check this out with your dealer, cause I don't know Warwick's accurate prices !

I told you this, according to my forthcoming CS Streamer LX... Compared to mine, yours would have a broadneck, 6 string and tremolo, but it wouldn't have the 35" scale, neither the bubinga pommelé body... So in the end, the price would probably balance, and if mine is 2280€, yours would be between 2500 and 3000...

We CAN do a 6 strings Streamer Stage II. It would be a little bit more expensive than the usual Streamer Stage II series instruments. But basically what it would be is a Streamer Stage I with an Afzelia body and an ovangkol neck. One of them members of the forum (Lex) actually owns a very similar one in Fretless version.
 
Then the neck thru wouldn't be hidden, as on the other SS2 ?

No it wouldn't. But I strongly suggest contacting [email protected] to make sure that the 6 strings SSII is not available through the Custom Shop. I remember Hans Peter Wilfer himself telling that it was possible to build in the custom shop.
 
That's a Beautifull bass Lex :shock: :shock:
It must sound simply mind blowing.

Like I said I tried a Streamer LX broadneck and felt in love with the bass so I just made up my mind and I gonna for a Custom LX but thanks anyway for the help Ollie and Lex too :) :)

Just got the price for my Custom Shop it will cost me 2500euros (you got it right Ian ehehe)
It will be a Streamer LX 6 string broadneck with a ebony fingerboard with a nirvana black coloured oil finish and some nice front facing blue leds
the kahler was putted aside.
So now I just need to sell my double bass to buy the CS :( :( :(
 
I've contacted the CS on this before and they can make a SSII 6 with a hidden neck design and the standard string spacing (16.5 mm).
