Just curious, because I've always kept an eye out for one, but never have seen one. But did they ever make Warwick pre-98 Corvettes with a wenge neck in swamp ash?

Was swamp ash an option when the corvette was launched. Also, wouldn't mind if anyone could confirm for me the year the corvette came out. Wikipedia says 1992.

Cheers!

I bought my Corvette Proline in 1992, it's nr. 62 (the first one in Denmark, i guess) Ash body with wenge neck. I ordred mine with black hardware, as it came standard with chrome (black looking better on that light ash, i think).
I happen to have the orginal Warwick flyer - Corvette Proline. Love at first sight. (it shure got me hooked)
Here goes:
Body: Ash (no swamp mentioned)
Neck: Wenge or mable (i've never seen one with a mable neck)
Fingerboard: Wenge

I might have to scan that old flyer and put it on the forum.

Thanks Myh for confirming that for me. The hunt continues! :) ... where can I see that flyer Mr Rabble?

Give me your e-mail address
Of course I'd gladly upload these fluers on this forum, if there's a right place to do it.
I think that many people will enjoy them

Emailed... I just you could put them up on Warwick Bass, and asked the admin to sticky them. I would think they would be of sufficient interest to warrant them!

I'll ask Oliver if he think it could be useful.

Hey! This ad is great! By the way, when did Warwick change the heel/neck attachment? The 'vette in the ad has a level, angled attachment and the newer ones have a "scooped" level (in correllation with the neck) attachment..Bad description, but 'vette owners will know what I mean...LOL.....

I think Warwick redesigned the Corvette in 1998, but i'm not quite sure. (someone correct me, if i'm wrong).
Here are pics showing the heel/neck attachment of my 92' ProLine and my 99' Standard.

It would be nice to have such flyers around here. Just feel free to create a new topic under Warwick Basses and post them there.
