P-Nut signature streamer

Maybe this should be an off topic posting, but I caught 311 in Tampa last night and was I was about 20 feet from P-Nut during the entire show. No need to elaborate about the show. (phenominal as usual). I just wanted to highlight that P-Nut did play his signature Streamer (dark walnut with pole humbucker and J pickup configuration) during the entire show. That bass was absolutely beautiful...and the tone was amazing! Needless to say, I was in heaven but jealous as hell. I did notice that after every song, P-Nut meticulously wiped down that baby from head to toe and did not change basses. A true Warwick endorser. If you can find a P-nut Streamer, buy it! That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

Ollie, Hope you made the show. If you didn't, shame on you.(haha) They are playing in West Palm Bch tonight. You have a chance to redeem yourself. Rock on.
 
That bass looks awesome, I would buy one unplayed if I had the cash. I'm watching ebay for one...
 
I missed the show. Unfortunately this bass is sold out. They are all in someone's hands or in the hands of independent dealers.
 
for those who've had the chance to play both, what's the Tonal Difference to the regular old SS2's with a simple J/J pickup configuration?
 
My local Music Shop has a P-Nut Sig Bass. I don't like it. It just doesn't feel right to me (this is just my oppinion). For some reason I just can't fall in love.

At first when I picked it up I didn't even know it was the P-Nut Sig Bass. It looks a lot darker than on the internet pictures. It was really heavy too. I can't say much about tonal differences to a SS2 because I didn't plug it in. I put it back on the wall after 2 minutes. The quality was amazing and I loved the inlays alot but I just didn't like it. I don't know why. It really freaked me out. I usually am fond of all Warwick basses.

The bass is custom made for P-Nut's needs which I guess, don't match mine. No one here should be discouraged just because of what I've written here. It's just not right for me. Everyone is different! Go out there and try it for yourself!
 
Bass Central has them but retail is $4999, which even after the discount is still pretty high for me...

....which makes it almost cheaper to get you own signature-model. :wink:

I suggest giving them a call, the price you can get on this bass from BC is way lower than that, and the service can't be topped.
 
It cost around 3300 € ($4230) at my local Music Shop. IMO that's a fair price.
 
Advertised for $6,900.00 here in Oz.
That's $5,278.07 USD :?
