Anyone would have any objections as to choosing a doublebuck over a standard active corvette (5 string?). For some reason, it is cheaper than the standard model (£670 vs £760), I just wonder why since the $$ provides more on the table.
For example, I can see that the pickups position could be a problem as far as playability goes (finger style, slap). Would the neck profile be different? Tone? I am really looking for that classic woody Warwick sound, I do not know if the $$ would provide that in the same way as the standard corvette does.
I really need to upgrade from my K5 to a proper 5 string instrument!
I really dig the monster look of the $$, just wondering about the other aspects of it.
Looking forward to joining the Warwick fan club
