I used to go diving in the 70s... in the cold dark muddy Irish Sea, and in flooded slate quarries in Wales (clear and bright, but still cold). I had a load of used gear and made my wetsuit from a kit... so the glued seams would start coming undone when you're in freezing water. Those were the days! Can't believe how flashy it all is now, fancy dry-suits, buoyancy compensators... and dive-computers!!!!

...sorry... I sound like an old fart!

:D As you mentioned "fart"...

Never fart in a dry suit! The zipper is usually placed on the back of the dry suit, which means your dive buddy will open it for you after the dive. The rest is for your imagination.

Hope I didn't ruin your breakfast now...

I like to learn one interesting new fact for each day... thanks for that one, Patrik... it's going in my "interesting facts, entry for Thursday 30 Aug 2007!"

Nobody plays golf??!? I know none of my friend back home growing up thought golf was worthwhile, but it's such a great Zen activity. Focus the mind without thinking about what you are doing.

It's the same way I approach the bass. The best stuff comes when I'm in the moment and not thinking of what I'm playing, and instead listening and knowing.

And I have a Pug. I love Pugs. So funny looking yet cute at the same time.

my post is popular... lol

Nice post Mrs T 8)

Apart from playing bass which seems to be taking up plenty of time lately and getting into arranging and recording music I have a couple of other hobbies.

Collecting smurfs - www.blueimps.com
Web design
Video games
Renovating our house. Well this is really more of a necassity than a hobby.
Gardening

Nice collection - I like the frightened Azrael and Bass guitar one prolly the most - How many are you missing to have them all?

Might I say I also play (badly) the guitar. I have an Epiphone Les Paul Classic on order right now. Quilt maple top, transparent blue finish. I'm hoping it will sound okay through my LA 10, otherwise it's a new amp on the horizon.

Music :D (What surprise)
Books
Running (if my muscles do what I want)
Snowboarding
Playing Tetris
Recently I started playing guitar, cause my flatmate wanted to sell hers. So I thought, okay, till you got the money for the bass you like you can at least train a bit on a guitar. Getting hard skin at the fingertips.
