Hi Flipper - yep. That's the x2 right there. I guess the maple one is x1 (now I have names for them!!!! :twisted: )

Also, now I suppose I can do a really good A-B comparison of the neck materials on otherwise identical basses. Maple vs Ovangkol... Watch for it!! ~M~

I voted the Maple version as my favourite CS bass (the poll), but the Ovangkol version is even more attractive.......... 8)
I really love the Ovangkol / Wenge colour combined with the Birdseye Maple. Even though the Corvette NT has a very modern "aggressive" look, your bass looks very classical. The pickups play a role as well I guess...................Very gorgeous. 8)
