You guys remember this little gem?





Well, the order is placed for a 5 strings version - this time it'll be a full NT.. Can't wait!!! ~M~
 
hint hint..my next cs bass will have mirrored p/p pickups :D
 
Ollie - yes we did go with the mirrored P configuration though they'll be EMG's by suggestion of HPW (who I trust completely on this matter)...
KrisG - it is contoured and unbelievably comfy to play. These are the only contoured Vette's in existence...
Malk - you'll be happy to know that the body and neck are ovangkol with a birdseye top.
This Streamette is far and above my favourite bass ever and now that there are NT Vette's available, I thought a five string near-replica would be just about perfect. From ten feet away, they should look almost identical... ~M~
 
I have one of those and wondered where the other 69 of them went. Glad to see they are around and loved as much as I love mine. I thought they were called Corvette Limited.

We know about 3 other Streamettes,Mick(Avionix543) has one,Michael at Dominant Music has another & we found one on ebay in Englad a few months back but dont know who bought it.Now were up to number 4 with yours WestRock.
Keep you eyes peeled for a custom shop Streamette that's been ordered by Mick (Avionix543).It's going to be an awesome custom built Warwick bass,I promise ya. 8)
 
There is also one hanging on the wall at Warwick HQ in Germany, and I have seen two on ebay within the last six months, one in Europe, other in UK. As for being called Corvette Limited, I have heard that too. It seems that at some point, somebody dubbed them the Streamettes because they started life as NT Streamers but due to unknown circumstances, the original necks were cut off then re-routed and made into bolt-ons. I hear from a very reliable source that HPW and Dana Teague were involved... :roll: Hang on to it for dear life, Westrock!! (and post some pix!!!!!!!) ~M~
 
there was another one on the british e-bay in the past few weeks too. been too busy to keep track of what happened to it though
 
The reserve wasn't met. I don't know if the guy still has it or not. It hasn't been re-listed yet that I know of. ~M~
 
Well, I got a call from BassCentral yesterday that my CS has shipped from DBG. Should get it in sometime next week.. ARRGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! the waiting continues... :D ~M~
 
alright. you have to take pictures BEFORE you play it. because if you start playing it, we'll NEVER get the pictures...
 
Looks like we'll have to wait a few more months for pictures. It came in yesterday and has the wrong neck. Supposed to be ovangkol, instead it's plain maple. Penniless and bassless... :( ~M~
