And that one guy's Sandberg is dead sexy as well.

And those Hellborg amps are GAS inducing for me. I love really pure tone (I think my 'Vette sounds best direct through a PA rather than through a bass amp) and minimal knobbage.
 
time to get rid of my own corvette!! that is seriously GAS inducing...
 
Expensive. The BO is 1000 Euros at thomann, that puts things in perspective. But I would think the Ash would be substancially cheaper.

For that kind of money, I could get a Streamer $$ custom. Now there's a thought...

The new Hellborg preamp sounds great. I got a chance to try it out today here at NAMM and had Jonas himself explain to me the whole idea behind the design of this pre, and basically it is based on a Rupert Neve's channel stripe. It is definitely the cleanest sounding EQ i've ever heard on any preamp for bass so far.
 
Those hellborg amps look real cool. I might have to give one a try when they are in stores. Any other news Ollie?

Well, i've a chance to try out all of the new basses and have to say that there is some really cool stuff going on for 2007. The new LTD has a very nice sound going on. I noticed that the high mids and highs are very clear and it has a very strong low end. The wenge neck definitely has a really nice feel to it.
 
what about the 25th anniversary special, when are they taking that out of it's case so you can try it?

I know what the 25th Anniversary bass is already, but e haven't made one yet. As soon as it's ready you will all get a peek.
