Need your input

I am still debating about this..... this one has EMGs so they were stock back then or were they replaced? are they as growly as MECs? will they sound good? as good as the other Wics?

He says that he got it recently and he does not know if this is a 2 or 3 band eq since he plays his Thumb NT5 most of the time and this one is just for staging and looks.

Will the 1 piece bridge accomodate my B string? I would like to make it BEAD.

any thoughts?
 
I really dig the White Streamer, black hardware idea kind like Lex's white Streamers' grandfather. LOL :wink: :lol:
 
what hardware color you got on the white Streamers Lex? black or chrome?

The EMG were stock back then. They are a little bit more mid scooped than the MEC actives, sound great anyway, and have a lot of growl, don't worry!
Count the pots... if you have 4 pots and all of them are simple (not stacked) then it is a 2 way EQ. If you have a stacked one it is a 3 way EQ :-)
Don't worry about the bridge it should work with your B string. If not, it will take 3 minutes to fix it :-)

the knobs are all unstacker so... will this thing have the push pull feture for active passive mode? or will the whole thing will be active always?

the EMGs pick ups were stock then. thanks Flo. but what about the elecs are they MECs or they are also stock back then as EMGs?

sorry for all these questions but when it comes to electronics... I am not good at all.

I tried an early Warwick many years ago - it was new and had EMGs. It was FANTASTIC sounding and made me want one for the next 20 years!!

I personally wouldn't replace them with MECs - you'll love it with EMGs. Keep it vintage.
