In addition to Rusty's post,I have heard/played his Tomkins with the passive Nordies & they're probably the best passive pups I've heard.If I didnt know,I would've thought they were active.

Even though I suggested EMGs +1 on the Nordies. I chose EMG over them cause their a little pricey, but definatley worth it.

Have you got your new piece of wood yet?

gotta thank you for the timber places details, Allan got a sick piece of silky oak there. He had to dig through a lot of crappy stuff to find it but here's the pics from what he found. He was there for nearly 4 hours looking through what they had.

jus updating you on my progress
i havent been around lately 2 keep u informed cause of studies but im almost finished!!! :D :D :D
ive jus got to rout out the cavities for the electronics, shape the body a bit more, apply a finish and assemble it! :D
of coarse theres some odd little things as well to fix up but thats basically it, i really wish i had some photos on me, there all at school, sorry guys :(
anyway, cant wait 2 finish it! :D

Dont forget to give me a shout when you come into town to check out Bass people.They have more Warwick gear now including the Hellborg amps & Cabs.
I gotta spiffy new axe I'll bring along for ya to try out too.
& If Rusty is in town we can make it a 3some.NHS!! :wink:

i got so angry today :evil: :evil: :evil:
everything was stuffing up and the necks not bolted on right, i dunno wat to do!!! it doesnt seem to be affecting the sound but theres a gap between the neck and the body plus the neck foint on the body split! :evil:
