Just got a used Corvette

You did a good job cleaning it up - I don't know what it looked like before, but it looks FANTASTIC now! Sweet looking! Glad to hear Tyler took care of you, but I knew he would. :D
 
For real your bass looks fantastic...qucik tip (get that avatar on your signature with the Fender out of there and get one with this beauty attached to your shoulder dude!!!!!) This bass rocks man. really does!!

or at least a close shot like the one Maddrakkett has on his.

Just had my first gig with the Corvette

So, I got my new parts from Dana B Goods and the bass is in GREAT Shape.
Played a gig last night and I had the best sound I ever had in my life. It's the sound I've always wanted! I'm so damn happy! Pretty much everything was flat and the tone was incredible and still deep. The only bad thing about having such a clear, beautiful tone is that you can't mess up! That's OK since I got the Warwick I've been playing more than I have in years. I haven't practiced this much in over 10 years. Not even when I got other new basses. My new Warwick is the shit! I've never been happier. That through the SWR 8x8 cabinet was amazing. There is something about the 8x8 cabinet that really warms up the tones and it doesn't loose a bit of the bottom end. It was Booming!

It sounds like someone's a happy camper with his new Bass.It's great reading posts like this,it reminds me I'm alive.

Glad to hear everything worked out, and those live pics ROCK! Of course I'm a sucker for a bubinga Warwick with an SWR rig backing the tone! :D
 
Is that a reflection in the bass, coz that is well waxed if it is!!

It's nice, congrats, reminds me of my 4 string :D

How come corvettes seem to resell for fairly cheap?
 
they look like lighting reflected off from somewhere actually. but those pics are nice anyway! aint nothing better than a bubinga vette! cept maybe a thumb =x
 
Hey Jer the more I look at your bass the more I fall in love with it and put it higher in my "to get" list. I am putting it on hold since I hope to be getting a Thumb BO Bubuinga before Friday (hopefully the guy won't back off).

Also thanks for the PM on the Corvette Bubinga in my area but for the above reasons I can't get it right now.

I won't say that maybe in 3 weeks or 4 might still be there for a lower price and ........ :twisted: you never know!!!
